Course Content

The MAS Cultural Media Studies course addresses a need that exists in many different business areas today: an ability to theoretically reflect and practically conduct culture and media analyses in a competent way. The course shows how individual and social life is determined by and through culture, making media and popular culture the object of analysis in theory and practice. The masters program mobilizes cultural and media-specific competences and relevant knowledge from various other disciplines, making it unique to the German-speaking world.

The course is aimed at college and technical college graduates, but also those of higher-level vocational schools and the university; to men and women with relevant qualifications and proven work experience in the areas of culture, music and media, art and design, teaching and research, education in the social sphere, therapeutic professions, administration, consulting, management, society and politics.

The course is offered in cooperation with the Zurich University of the Arts. The next semester begins on 15/04/2013. Please submit your application documents (portfolio / dossier, application form) no later than 12/03/2013 (postmark). Further details here.
